What you share with us
The enquiry form asks for your name, email, travel date, group size, preferred language, selected experiences, and transport preferences. A phone number and personal trip notes are optional. Please do not include sensitive medical information, passport details, or payment card information.
How your details are used
We use your information to respond to your request and discuss suitable independent guides or experience providers. Your enquiry and privacy acknowledgement are stored in a protected database. We do not publish your enquiry, sell your personal data, or use it for automatic marketing.
Matching you with an independent provider
We can discuss availability using the minimum trip information needed, without your name or contact details. Before sharing your contact details or identifiable trip notes with a proposed guide or provider, we identify them and ask for your permission. After you choose a provider, we share the information needed for your agreed booking and explain the recipient and purpose. Providers may handle booking information under their own privacy notices. Do not send payment card details through this form.
Service providers and notifications
Site.eu provides website and database hosting. Owner access uses a protected session on this hosting account. If email notifications are enabled, Resend processes the enquiry to deliver an email to our booking team. Server credentials stay outside browser code.
Technical data and necessary storage
The enquiry endpoint uses a temporary hashed network identifier to limit abusive submissions. Hosting access and authentication may use necessary platform cookies. If analytics is configured, we remember your accept or reject choice in your browser for up to 180 days so you do not need to choose on every page. We host our fonts and destination images locally.
Optional Google Analytics
When configured, Google Analytics 4 loads only after you choose Accept analytics. It measures page visits, WhatsApp button clicks and successfully saved enquiry counts. A WhatsApp click does not tell us whether a message was sent or received. Google processes technical information such as browser, device, network address and usage data; analytics cookies such as _ga and _ga_<stream ID> may last up to 180 days. Our tracking code excludes form contents, contact details, enquiry references, and URL queries or fragments. Advertising storage, advertising personalisation and Google Signals are disabled in our tag. Google may process data outside the European Economic Area. Read Google's privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy for its processing and safeguards. The operator must confirm the final property settings and processing arrangements before activation.
Changing your cookie choice
Use Cookie settings in the footer to accept or reject analytics at any time. Rejecting leaves all travel-planning features available. Withdrawing consent stops our tracking, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies, and reloads the page to unload the tag. It does not automatically delete data already collected; contact us for a data request.
Keeping and managing your data
Enquiries should be reviewed regularly and deleted when no longer needed to answer the request. A proposed operational retention period is 12 months after the last contact, unless an actual booking or a legal obligation requires a different period. This retention process must be finalised by the operator before public launch; it is not an automated deletion promise.
Your choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete information you provided and request that we stop using it to respond to your enquiry. Use the enquiry form and include your enquiry reference so we can find the record. Applicable data protection rights and the final controller details must be verified for the public launch.
